Secured Sockets Layer (SSL)
When you place your order through our on-line Shopping Cart, your order is processed using the most current  Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, a protocol developed for safely transmitting private documents via the Internet. SSL works by using a "private key" to encrypt data that's transferred over the SSL connection. This private key safely locks your personal information before being transmitted and keeps it locked until it arrives at our facility and is unlocked by our program. Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer support SSL, and many Web sites use the protocol to obtain confidential user information, such as credit card numbers.  When you checkout look at the address/location in your browser; web pages that require an SSL connection start with https://  ("s" meaning the connection is secure) instead of http://     Also, look for the locked padlock icon ( or ) in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen as an indication that you are in a secured area of the site. For every web page of our Shopping Cart, where private information is entered and transmitted, the Secure Socket Layer technology is in use to assure your private information remains that way.

Credit card security
Your credit card information and order details are immediately removed from our secure online servers and stored in a secure database system which is only accessible by select company management staff. The credit card information remains in this system for a short period of time, that is required by the bank and necessary in the event of billing problems or billing dispute. After this period of time, your credit card information is deleted and no longer stored in our system. If you still have concerns, we also offer alternative means of payment; mailing a check or money order, faxing or e-mailing your order.

GSM does NOT divulge or trade any personal information held about its customers to other organizations outside
the company. Understandably, many people are hesitant about giving out personal information but please be assured your details are for the use of Global Source Marketing Inc. and the processing of the order only.  GSM refuses to sell, rent, lease or trade customer information for telemarketing, mailings or other forms of marketing. We hold your private information in the same manner which we'd want our own individual/personal information held. We also do NOT perform any sort of in-house telemarketing sales calls or mass mailings trying to sell you something. The only contacts that we make are a once a year e-mail (usually around the holidays) that tells previous customers of a special offer or discount.
